Abstract
Pendahuluan: Masa prasekolah merupakan periode yang penting dalam proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia. Anak dapat mengalami gangguan perkembangan seperti gangguan dalam mengontrol emosi dan sulit bersosialisasi dikarenakan menggunakan smartphone atau gadget selama satu sampai dua jam bahkan lebih untuk menonton video dan bermain game. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penggunaan smartphone terhadap perkembangan anak usia prasekolah berdasarkan studi empiris lima tahun terakhir. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan literature review melalui database ScienceDirect, ERIC, BMC, PLOS ONE, MDPI, Google scholar dan IOP Science (2017-2021) untuk mengambil artikel yang relevan diterbitkan dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Populasi ini berkaitan dengan penggunaan smartphone terhadap perkembangan anak usia prasekolah, tidak ada intervensi, dan tidak ada faktor pembanding dalam penelitian. Outcome penelitian terdapat penggunaan smartphone terhadap perkembangan anak usia prasekolah. Studi desain menggunakan Mix methods study, experimental study, survey study, cross sectional, analisis korelasi, analisis komparasi, studi kualitatif, studi kuantitatif. Hasil: penggunaan smartphone pada anak usia prasekolah perlu diperhatikan jenis, lama penggunaan, dan pengawasan penggunaan smartphone. Sebagian besar perkembangan anak usia prasekolah ditemukan buruk. Ada 4 aspek perkembangan yang terganggu yaitu sosial, emosional, kognitif, dan motorik. Kesimpulan: menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan smartphone terhadap perkembangan anak usia prasekolah.
