Abstract
Pembendungan terlalu lama dilakukan dapat menyebabkan perubahan nilai terhadap hasil pemeriksaan seperti pada pemeriksaan hematologi, salah satunya adalah pemeriksaan hematokrit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran nilai hematokrit dalam lama pembendungan pengambilan darah waktu 1 menit dan ≥ 1 menit menggunakan metode mikrohematokrit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pemeriksaan menggunakan metode mikrohematokrit. Sampel yang diambil yaitu mahasiswa semester VI prodi D-III Analis Kesehatan Stikes ICMe Jombang dengan jumlah populasi 88 mahasiswa, sampel diambil sebanyak 15 dengan teknik Quota Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa pemeriksaan hematokrit dipengaruhi oleh waktu pembendungan pengambilan darah. Nilai hematokrit dengan lama pembendungan darah waktu 1 menit didapatkan hasil 37% dan 38% sebesar (33,3%), sedangkan pembendungan pengambilan darah waktu ≥ 1 menit didapatkan hasil 39% sebesar (33,3%). Penelitian Gambaran nilai hematokrit dalam lama pembendungan pengambilan darah waktu 1 menit dan ≥ 1 menit menggunakan metode Mikrohematokrit dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai hematokrit dengan waktu pembendungan ≥ 1 menit mengalami peningkatan. Penetapan nilai hematokrit prosedur yang dilakukan harus benar, agar hasil yang dikeluarkan dari laboratorium bisa tepat dan tidak menimbulkan hasil palsu, karena hasil pemeriksaan digunakan dokter sebagai penunjang diagnosa pasien. Pengambilan darah vena untuk pemeriksaan hematokrit sebaiknya petugas laboratorium membendung lengan dengan tourniquet tidak boleh ≥ 1 menit. Kata Kunci : Lama Pembendungan, Nilai Hematokrit
