Abstract

Pendahuluan: Diare merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat dengan prevalensi yang tinggi. Diare lebih dominan menyerang balita karena daya tahan tubuhnya yang masih lemah dan berada di fase oral yang cenderung lebih aktif memainkan benda asing dan bahkan memasukkannya ke dalam mulut.Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi penanganan diare pada balita di masyarakat. Metode: Penelitian Literatur Review ini menggunakan pencarian sumber data artikel dilakukan melalui database Google Scholar dan Research Gate dalam 5 tahun terakhir untuk mengambil artikel yang relavan yang diterbitkan menggunakan bahasa indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Hasil: Berdasarkan literature riview dari 5 artikel menujukkan bahwa penanganan diare pada balita di masyarakat dapat dilakukan dengan cara pemberian madu,pemberian biskuit tempe,Pemberian cairan oralit,dan pemberian air rebusan daun jambu biji efektif dalam membantu menurunkan frekuensi BAB pada penderita diare.Kesimpulan: berdasarkan 5 artikel menunjukkan bahwa penanganan diare pada balita di masyarakat dengan cara pemberian madu,pemberian biskuit tempe,pemberian cairan oralit,dan pemberian air rebusan daun jambu biji dapat membantu mengganti cairan tubuh yang hilang pada saat mengalami diare. Kata Kunci : Penanganan, Diare, Balita
