Abstract
Glukosa darah merupakan gula yang terdapat didalam darah yang terjadi dari pembentukan karbohidrat dalam makanan kemudian disimpan sebagai glikogen di otot rangka dan hati. Kadar glukosa darah tinggi disebabkan karena faktor stres yang dialami mahasiswa semester 6 karena tuntutan menyelesaikan tugas akhir tepat waktu sehingga tubuh memproduksi hormon kortisol yang memiliki efek metabolik untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi glukosa darah. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres dengan kadar glukosa darah pada mahasiswa semester 6 prodi D3 TLM di ITSkes ICMe Jombang. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian seluruh mahasiswa semester 6 prodi D3 TLM berjumlah 36 mahasiswa. Teknik sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan jenis simple random sampling. Variabel independen penelitian tingkat stres dan variabel dependen kadar glukosa darah pada mahasiswa semester 6 prodi D3 TLM. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan glukometer tes glukosa darah. Pengolahan data menggunakan Editing, Coding, Data entry, Scoring, Tabulating. Analisa data menggunakan Uji Korelasi Spearman Rank α 0.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 26 responden hampir dari setengah mahasiswa memiliki tingkat stres berat 42.3% sejumlah 11 mahasiswa dan sebagian besar dari mahasiswa memiliki kadar glukosa darah normal 61.5% sejumlah 16 mahasiswa. Hasil uji Spearman rank didapatkan nilai value 0.54 atau >0.05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat stres dengan kadar glukosa darah pada mahasiswa semester 6 Prodi D3 TLM di ITSKes ICMe Jombang.
