Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah bisa menggunakan sampel darah vena maupun darah kapiler. Umumnya, kadar glukosa darah sampel darah vena <110 mg/dl dan kapiler <140 mg/dl bisa dianggap dalam kisaran normal. Keakuratan hasil dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti persiapan pasien, persiapan dan pengumpulan sampel maupun metode pemeriksaan yang digunakan. Tujuan literature ini adalah untuk menelaah perbedaan kadar glukosa darah menggunakan sampel darah vena dan darah kapiler dengan studi empiris 5 tahun terakhir. Metode : Yang digunakan adalah metode PICOS. Sumber yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam literature review berasal dari database Science Direct, Pubmed, ResearchGet dan Google Scholar yang kemudian di screening kembali berdasarkan terbitan tahun 2016-2021 sehingga diperoleh 5 jurnal yang akan di review. Hasil dan Analisis : Hasil review artikel penelitian dari 5 jurnal menujukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kadar glukosa darah menggunakan sampel darah vena dan darah kapiler. Penggunaan darah kapiler direkomendasikan untuk skrining awal dan memonitor kadar glukosa darah karena pemeriksaan jauh lebih sederhana dan lebih mudah. Namun, hasil akan lebih akurat jika menggunakan sampel darah vena sebagai jenis sampel tes pemeriksaan glukosa darah. Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan kadar glukosa darah vena dan darah kapiler berdasarkan studi empiris 5 tahun terakhir. Kata Kunci : Vena, Kapiler dan Glukosa Darah
