Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know influence of parent role ( function of asih, asih, asuh) to school phobia occurrence. The research was cross sectional study design with of purposive sampling technique. The number of sample were 49 respondent of preschool age parent in TK. Dharma Wanita Persatuan RSJ Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang. Result of this research are 34,7% of school phobia and 65,3% of non school phobia, asah function : medium 79,6%, goodness 20,4%, function of asih : medium 24,5%, goodness 75,5% and function of asih : medium 18,4%, goodness 81,6%, by using non parametric analysis with chi square test by Confidence Interval 95% and alpha 5% revealed no significant relation between parent role and school phobia occurence to preschool in TK. Dharma Wanita Persatuan RSJ Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang 2017, proved by Asymp.Sig 0,628. Furthermore analysis regarding to each parent characteristic revealed Asymp.Sig 0,408 for asih function, 0,262 for asuh function and 0,924 for asah function. So at alpha 5% can be concluded that no significant relation between the third parent and school phobia occurence in pre school. By the rate of school phobia was high (34,7%), so can be describe for parent to pay attention the physical condition of physic, mental and social in introducing to school overview as one of the child preparation. Role of nurse as health care provider to contribut by advocation to teacher and parent to give practice, stimulation, conditioning, model, advise, or conseling. And require of continuing research for exploration factor that influence school phobia for preschool. Keyword: Role of parent, School Phobia, Pre school.
