Abstract

ABSTRAK Makanan cepat saji mengandung banyak sekali zat yang berbahaya seperti pewarna, pengawet (MSG), pemanis dan lain sebagainya dan dapat menimbulkan penyakit bagi tubuh jika dikonsumsi berlebihan. Makanan cepat saji mengandung banyak lemak, protein hewani, kalori penyebab obesitas. Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan dengan metode wawancara didapatkan 8 ibu kurang mengetahui dampak makanan cepat saji tapi tetap memberikan makanan cepat saji, 2 ibu mengetahui dampak makanan cepat saji serta tidak memberikan kepada anaknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian makanan cepat saji pada anak kelas 2 di SDN 1 Balongpanggang Desa Balongpanggang, Kecamatan Balongpanggang, Kabupaten Gresik. Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik cross sectional. Populasinya semua ibu anak kelas 2 di SDN 1 Balongpanggang Desa Balongpanggang, Kecamatan Balongpnggang, Kabupaten sejumlah 105 responden. Teknik sampling menggunakan simple random sampling dengan sampel sejumlah 53 responden. Variabel independent yaitu pengetahuan ibu, variabel dependent yaitu pemberian makanan cepat saji. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan pengolahan data editing, coding, scoring, tabulating dan uji statistik menggunakan Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian hampir setengahnya berpengetahuan baik sebanyak 25 responden (47,2%), sebagian besar berperilaku positif (tidak memberikan makanan cepat saji pada anak) sebanyak 33 responden (62,3%). Uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 (ρ=0,00< α= 0,05) sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa H1 diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian makanan cepat saji pada anak kelas 2 di SDN 1 Balongpanggang Desa Balongpanggang, Kecamatan Balongpanggang, Kabupaten Gresik. Kata kunci: Pengetahuan Ibu, Pemberian Makanan Cepat Saji THE CORRELATION OF MOTHERS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FAST FEEDING TO THE CHILDREN CLASS 2 (STUDY AT SDN 1 BALONGPANGGANG BALONGPANGGANG, GRESIK) ABSTRACT Fast food contains a lot of harmful substances such as dyes, preservatives (MSG), sweeteners ect and it can cause disease to the body if consumed in excess. Fast food contains a lot of fat, animal protein and calories which cause obesity. Preliminary studies were conducted by interview was obtained 8 mothers had less knowledge the impact of fast food but they still provided fast food, 2 mothers knew the impact of fast food and did not provide the fast food to their children. The purpose of this research was to analyze the relation of mother’s knowledge with providing fast food for children grade 2 in SDN 1 Balongpanggang village of Balongpanggang, sub-district of Balongpanggang, Gresik regency. This research design was analitical cross sectional. The populations were entire mothers whose children grade 2 in the SDN 1 Balongpanggang village of Balongpanggang, sub-district Balongpanggang, Gresik regency a number of 105 respondents. Sampling technique used simple random sampling with the sampels amounted 53 respondents. The independent variable was the mother’s knowledge, dependent variable was providing fast food. The research instruments used a questionnaire with data processing by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating and statistical test used Spearman Rank. The result was almost half of respondents had a good knowledge as many as 25 respondents (47,2%), mostly had positive attidude (did not provide fast food for children) were as many as 33 respondents (62,3%). The Spearman Rank test showed that’s dignificant value was 0,000 less than 0,05 (ρ=0,00< α= 0,05) so it could be stated that’s H1 accepted. The conclusion of this research is there’s relation of mothr’s knowledge with providing fast food for children grade 2 in SDN 1 Balongpanggang village of Balongpanggang, sub-district of Balongpanggang, Gresik regency.
